A type of criterion-related validity evidence needed when the user intends to substitute the use of one tool with another. Applies to gathering correlational validity evidence to see how well scores from a chosen assessment tool overlap with an established measure of the same construct, when both are administered at the same time to a group. (Same as Concurrent Validiity Coefficient).
