Standards    
 

  1. Applies to standard-setting procedures (same as criterion score; cut score; passing score; or performance criterion) Refers to the criterion score set by the instructor on score continua for interpretation of mastery, assigning marks, or selection/admission decisions.
  2. Also applies to 1990s Standard-based Reforms movement in U.S. education. Refers to world class content area "standards" and benchmarks, as well as opportunity to learn "standards".
  3. May also refer to the latest AERA, APA, & NCME standards in the measurement field.
