Scoring Key

Total score of 50 to 40: Students demonstrated consistent pattern of competency in performing physical therapy evaluation. Student is considered ready as an entry-level cardiac physical therapist performing physical therapy evaluation. No direct supervision is needed but may need consultative advice only.
 
Total score of 39 to 30: Student demonstrated inconsistent pattern of competency in performing physical therapy evaluation. Student may be considered ready as an entry-level cardiac physical therapist performing physical therapy evaluation. This student will require occasional direct supervision and constant advice, if necessary.
 
Score of 29 or below: Student demonstrated no pattern of competency in performing physical therapy evaluation. This student is not yet ready to be an entry-level cardiac physical therapist performing physical therapy evaluation. This student is considered unsafe to perform the evaluation procedure. A conference with the student, school coordinator and the clinical instructor should be arranged to discuss the student's progress.
