The Global Food Security (GFS) Lab is a small, informal group of collaborators, who have broad interests in the interplay among agriculture, water, energy, and climate.  We are working to build this lab into a more formal, funded one that promotes research on understanding the global food system as a complex, interconnected system.  Currently, the Center for Climate and Life (http://climateandlife.columbia.edu) is funding our efforts on resilience and redundancy of the global food system.
