PAULA COLE
  (WENDY) is an actor, director and performance artist whose credits include work at Circle in the Square, Playwrights Horizons, New York Theater Workshop, Lincoln Center and international theater companies in The Netherlands, Germany and Scotland. She is a company member of both Richard Schechner's East Coast Artists and Arden Party. Most recently she directed a new adaptation of Euripedes' TROJAN WOMEN and appeared with Douglas Dunn & Dancers at Lincoln Center's Outdoor Festival.
ALLEN LEWIS RICKMAN
  (ALBERT ADLER) has appeared extensively Off-Broadway and in Regional theater in such plays as LAUGHTER ON THE 23RD FLOOR, THE 1940'S RADIO HOUR and TONY 'N TINA'S WEDDING. He recently made his network debut on LAW & ORDER. Rickman's video THE FUHRER'S FUNNYMAN, which he wrote and performed, was broadcast nationally on Buck Henry's Are We On? (PBS). He has appeared in numerous independent films, including SHEETROCK and Schwartzman's recent trilogy of short films.
POLLY HUMPHREYS
  (LUDMILLA GUND) is a stage actor who has performed in productions throughout New York, most recently in DON JUAN with Happy Accidend Productions. She can also be seen in many cable promos, videos, industrials, and the occasional commercial. APHRODISIAC is the first film in which she plays a major role.
CHUCK MONTGOMERY
 

(BOB HARDING, MAYOR) is a versatile actor, writer and stand-up comic whose recent film credits include Hal Hartley's HENRY FOOL and AMATEUR, Chris Columbus' STEPMOM with Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon, Amos Poe's FROGS FOR SNAKES and Adrienne Shelly's SUDDEN MANHATTAN.

Montgomery is a member of the Obie Award-winning Cucaracha Theater in NYC and has appeared at The Joseph Papp Public Theater and various downtown theater companies in New York. His television credits include writer and performer for Comedy Central, and roles in TV Nation, Short Attention Span Theater and several daytime television shows.

MARTIN EPSTEIN
  (DR. K) last appeared as Professor Brezensky in the premiere of HEART OF A DOG at the Theater for the New City. An established actor in New York's theater and independent film community, Epstein has also written and produced two musicals.
LILIANA AMADOR
  (VIRGIN MARY) is a dancer and actor who has performed throughout New York and New Jersey. Professionally trained with the Inner City Ensemble theater and Dance Company under Ralph Gomez and at Bates College, Amador has performed with the New Music Theater Ensemble, The Guthrie Theater, and Theatro del Pueblo.
JAMES URBANIAK
  (DELI ASSISTANT) has performed in New York City with many off-off Broadway theater companies, including Arden Party (co-founder), Hangdog Theatre, Spunky Productions, Target Margin, Cucaracha, and Clubbed Thumb. He won an Obie and an Encore Magazine Taking Off Award for his performance in Richard Foreman's THE UNIVERSE at the Ontological-Hysteric Theater. Film work includes Hal Hartley's HENRY FOOL and Hilary Brougher's THE STICKY FINGERS OF TIME.
JESSICA DUBLIN
  (MRS. ADLER) performed abroad for thirty years and had the opportunity to work with prominent directors in Rome and Athens, including Federico Fellini in SATYRICON, Luchino Visconti in THE DAMNED and in Theodore Angelopolous in THE HUNTERS. Her roles varied from Hecuba in The TROJAN WOMEN to Madams in Spaghetti Westerns with Joe Namath.

Back in America Dublin has been in numerous films, including The HOTEL MANOR INN with John Randolph, THE REJUVENATOR, GOD ON OUR SIDE with Buster Poindexter, and Ramin Niami's SOMEWHERE IN THE CITY..
SONIA DIETRICH
  (SUE, VIRGIN ON VAN) most recently conceived of, co-wrote and directed The EROTICA PROJECT, an ongoing tactile radio performance on WBAI in NY. Recent NYC theater credits include THE RICHARD FOREMAN FEST and A POUND OF FLESH at Nada, NINE MONTHS at The Cucaracha Theater, SYPZ AND AILANTHS at the Workhouse and the Lincoln Center Dir.'s Lab with Christine Sang. She is making her film debut with APHRODISIAC. Dietrich has just relocated and gone Hollywood.
GRETCHEN LEE KRICH
  (VIVA) has performed both on and off Broadway. Recent credits include Elizabeth Swados' MISSIONARIES at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Next Wave Festival, DANCING AT LUGHNASA on Broadway, UNCLE TOM'S CABIN with the Drama Dept. and work at LaMama, The Kitchen, Lincoln Center, Nada, the Ohio Theater and the Beckett Festival in Victoria, B.C. Krich can be seen in Hal Hartley's new film Henry Fool.
TIMUR KOCAK
  (SIMON THE CABBIE) completed his training at The Poor School in London and went on to appear in fringe, touring and West End theater, as well as radio, television and film in the UK. Among his numerous New York theatrical credits are: the Bastard in KING JOHN for the Millennium Stage Company, Soho Think Tank's SNARP'S CAMEO at Soho's Ohio Theatre, The Elizabethan Shakespeare Company's production of AS YOU LIKE IT, the New York premiere of Len Jenkin's POOR FOLK'S PLEASURE at the Workhouse Theater, Laertes in The Talking Dog Company's HAMLET and the title role in the Shakespeare Project's CORIOLANUS.
RANDOLPH CURTIS RAND
  (THE SEXY MOHEL) is the director and adapter of the critically acclaimed production of UNCLE TOM'S CABIN with the Drama Dept. at the Greenwich House Theater in New York City. An actor/director and founding member of Arden Party, Rand's theater credits include performances at LaMama, Nada, Arden Party, Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
MIKE RUBENS
  (JIM, THE POPE'S MAN) has appeared in numerous productions in Manhattan's downtown alternative theater scene. Mike holds a black belt in karate and has studied capoeira for five years. In real life he is a producer for a science and technology television news program in which he occasionally appears in the role of the Intrepid Science Reporter.
PAULA ROTH
  (WENDY'S MOTHER) completed APHRODISIAC and captured the lead in the independent action features DOMAIN and SNAPPED now in post-production. Roth has performed in numerous downtown theaters in NYC.
FRANK DEAL
  (BISHOP MARTIN, NERVOUS PRIEST) is an actor, teacher and director. He most recently appeared in the world premiere of the ADVENTURES OF AMY BLOCK at the Yale Repertory Theater. He teaches acting at State University of Purchase, New York University and The Actor's Center. As a director, his next project will be two short plays at the 1998 Humana Festival at the Actors Theater in Louisville.
GERALD SIMON
  (DOM DARIO, THE POPE, BISHOP ALEFRIC, OLD MAN) has appeared Off Broadway, Off Off Broadway, on radio and television, CD Rom and every media that has been invented until now.
WENDY SCHARFAM
  (SEXY WOMAN, DINER WOMAN) has appeared in film, New York theater, and regional theater. Film credits include Woody Allen's MANHATTAN MURDER MYSTERYand DEVIL TO PAY with John Cryer. Theater credits include work with the Public Theater, Intar, One Dream, Image Theater, Ohio Theater and New York Performance Works.
JULIE ANDERSON
  (AMBER) recently appeared in Hilary Brougher's THE STICKY FINGERS OF TIME and Hal Hartley's HENRY FOOL.
