Nonlinear Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Programs
SAS Programs implementing the Two-Stage Method of Moments (2SMM) procedure for nonlinear SEM.
- cross-product.sas This program
performs part of the simulation study found in the paper "A method of
moments technique for fitting interaction effects in structural
equation models" (Wall and Amemiya, 2003). It is using the Two Stage Method of Moments
technique to fit a structural equation model containing a
cross-product term.
- quadratic.sas This program
performs part of the simulation study found in the paper "Estimation for polynomial structural equation models" (Wall and Amemiya, 2000). It is using the Two Stage Method of Moments
technique to fit a structural equation model containing a
quadratic term.
- cubic.sas This program
performs part of the simulation study found in the paper "Estimation for polynomial structural equation models" (Wall and Amemiya, 2000). It is using the Two Stage Method of Moments
technique to fit a structural equation model containing a
quadratic and a cubic term.
SAS Program implementing the Generalized appended product indicator procedure (GAPI) for nonlinear SEM
- gapi.sas This program can be used
to obtain parameter estimates for a quadratic structural
equation model using the Generalized Appended Product Indicator
Procedure found in the paper "Generalized Appended Product Indicator Procedure for Fitting Polynomial Structural Models" (Wall and Amemiya, 2001).
Programs implementing full maximum likelihood and Bayesian procedures for nonlinear SEM.
These programs and examples are presented in the paper: Wall MM (2009) Maximum likelihood and Bayesian
estimation for nonlinear structural equation models, Handbook of Quantitative Methods in Psychology.
