Ronald Mann is a Professor of law at the University of Texas
School of Law. He has written extensively about secured credit
and about the effect of technology on payment systems. He previously
has published a casebook on Commercial Transactions (with Lynn
LoPucki, Elizabeth Warren & Dan Keating, 2d ed. forthcoming Aspen

K. Winn is Professor of law at Dedman Law School, Southern Methodist
University. She is coauthor of The Law of Electronic Commerce, 4th
