We are working on developing ultra low power wireless interfaces for EnHANTs (Energy Harvesting Active Networked Tags). EnHANTs is a large collaborative project at Columbia, see enhants.ee.columbia.edu, where we are developing proof-of-concept technologies for thin, flexible, energy-self-reliant, postage-stamp-size tags that will harvest energy from the environment and that will communicate and networks amongst themselves to enable the "Internet of Things".
