Computer Networks

A computer network is a group of computers that can communicate electronically. Networks can be composed of computers in a single building (Local Area Networks or LANs), or computers thousands of miles apart (Wide Area Networks or WANs). The Internet is a worldwide collection of computer networks that can communicate with each other using open protocols and standards.
