Ramisa Likes Cheese!

Hi, and welcome to my cheese home.
My name is Ramisa Murshed. I'm a first-year at Barnard College, and I'm originally from Atlanta, GA. Although my major is currently undeclared, I'm thinking about majoring in either Neuroscience or Computer Science. On campus, I'm a daily editor for Bwog, and I write for Rare Candy. I also work as a Barnard Student Admissions Representative and a Barnard Babysitter.

That's me, pictured to the left!

The most important thing to know about me, though, is that I love cheese. So, here are cool facts about my six favorite cheeses!

6. Provolone

Provolone is commonly used in sandwiches. My favorite kind of sandwich is a turkey and cheese sandwich, with provolone. I never forget to put mayonnaise on my sandwiches. Yum.

Anyway, here are some cool facts about provolone that you probably didn't know:

5. Parmesan

Parmesean can be found in powder form. You can use this powder and put parmesan on top of pizza or pasta. I prefer putting parmesan on pizza and also adding red chili flakes to it for extra spice.

Some interesting facts about parmesan:

4. Cheddar

Cheddar isn't my favorite, but it's also not my least favorite. Cheddar is a classic. Everyone knows about it. It's so versatile; you can put it on literally anything. I love to put shredded cheddar cheese in my salads.

Think you know everything there is to know about cheddar? I'm here to prove you wrong:

3. Mozzarella

Mozzarella is used in a lot of things. My favorite use of it, again, is on pizza. Not in powder form, though. I mean literally on pizza. I also love mozzarella string cheese.

2. Feta

Feta cheese is a very light cheese. Some may even call it the "healthy" cheese. I like to eat feta with salad, or even alone because it's so tasty.

Here's more about the "healthy" cheese:

1. Brie

Brie is the greatest cheese of all time. It's extremely creamy and delicious, and it tastes amazing with crackers or even by itself. One time, I was studying for a biology exam and went to Morton Williams at midnight just to buy some Brie, and I ate it throughout the night as "brain food."
