I'm currently a PhD student in operations research at Columbia. I'm in my fifth year in the program and am aiming to graduate next May. My research interests are in the area of applied probability and stochastic modeling, in particular stochastic models of queueing systems. My advisor is Prof. Ward Whitt.
Before coming to Columbia, I spent two years at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Department of Computer Science, where I mostly studied machine learning and theoretical computer science.
Before going to UIUC I studied mathematics and computer science at the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate and master's student.
