This sign post stands at the intersection between an old dirt road and a long stretch of highway that is about 75 miles east of Los Angeles. Although Cottonwood Canyon Road runs through private property, respectful visitors are permitted to travel along the dusty corridor as they make their way through the rural desert community. I begin the photographic journey in the Canyon series with this popular target amongst gun enthusiasts.
