Now available for purchase, a new instructional videotape for psychiatrists (and neurologists) preparing for their part II, oral examination. The tape is an updated version of the original Boards Videotape that sold over 1,000 copies. The Boards Videotape is being used to prepare residents for their ral examinations at Columbia, NYU, Duke as well as in the Board Review course at the University of Chicago, reports that "every level of student, even the student with excellent training and experience can benefit from this tape." Like the original, it includes annotated lecture, a psychiatric interview of an actual patient, and a "mock" examination. It presents a systematic, and comprehensive method for conducting the interview and for preparing for the examination. This VHS tape runs about 90+ minutes, SP speed, and has been professionally recorded, in color, and edited at the studios of the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University Dept. of Psychiatry.
