RESEARCH

I am interested in combining phylogenetic analyses with community ecology to better understand processes of species accumulation at the community level. I am particularly interested in how these processes relate to niche conservatism and functional ecology. My previous work has largely been with birds in the Solomon Islands, and I hope to continue to do my research in this incredible natural laboratory. I am co-advised by Shahid Naeem and Joel Cracraft.
