About Me

I'm a software engineer in Google Cloud.
Before joining google, I was a senior software engineer in Clari for 3 years.
Before Clari, I worked as a software engineer in Oracle storage appliance.
I graduate from COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY with a Master's Degree in Computer Science in February, 2013.

Past Selected Experiences & Projects

• Senior Software Engineer at Clari
  I worked for Clari, a SaaS company to analyze and predict sales, for 3 years. I enjoyed the building features and leading projects in Clari a lot.
  
• Software Engineer at Oracle
  I worked on the COMSTAR team on Oracle Santa Clara Campus as my first job. My team was in charge of building the blocked I/O driver in Solaris storage servers.
  My code was mostly C in the Solaris kernel.
  
• Internship at BlackRock
  I worked for the BlackRock Aladdin platform as my summer internship. My team was in charge of maintaining the ledger database.
  During the internship, I analyzed SQL queries in existing projects to fit Cassandra data model.
  I also designed a Java library to post concurrent live trading records into the ledger database.
• Teaching Assistant
  I worked as a teaching assistant for COMS 4115 Programming Languages and Translators, during the semester of Spring 2012 in Columbia. The instructor was Professor Alfred Aho. I mentored five teams on their designing and implementation during the four months.
• C Analysis and Unit Testing (CAUT)
  I worked on CAUT for two years in my undergraduate. I was one of the two designers of the parallel version of CAUT toolkit. We designed two different parallel models, implemented both of them, and did some theoretical analysis and practical experiments on them. We published the paper on one of the models.

Miscellaneous

I like photography and seeing movies.
I like sports, too, such as soccer, basketball, and badminton. Travelling is also fascinating to me. Photographing is one of my hobbies.
I have been to London, Hong Kong, and studied in Essence International School in Kaduna, Nigeria from 1996 to 1997.
