CALL FOR PAPERS

Music Information Retrieval currently encompasses a wide body of research. Our focus is specifically to bring into focus those topics of Music Information Retrieval that are presently not in the spotlight, and those potentially represented in future ISMIR conferences. While we are interested in the topics suggested in the ISMIR call for papers (here), we are also interested in topics generally presented at conferences such as ICMC (here), DAFX (here), NIME (here), JCDL (here) and ICASSP (here), as many recent papers in these conferences share interests and methods with our field. We are looking forward to ISMIR 2009, the future of Music Information Retrieval, and thank you for your submissions!
