Research Focus
Our
research is focused on understanding and quantifying the fundamental chemistry and physics of multiphase environmental systems. In particular we study the interactions between atmospheric gases and environmental interfaces, such as aerosol particle surfaces or substances at the Earth’s surface like snow, and how these interactions influence atmospheric composition and climate.
We perform laboratory and modeling studies using the tools of physical chemistry and aerosol science to gain insight into the processes of interest. The results of these studies
