IEOR E8100, Advanced Topics in IEOR: Seminar on Queueing Theory

Main Topics: extremal queues, bounds and approximations for queueing performance measures, set-valued approximations for queueing models, robust queueing, transform methods, numerical inversion of Laplace transforms, heavy-traffic methods, applications of queueing models to service systems
Special Topics for 2019 (with doctoral students currently focusing on that topic): (i) extremal queues (Yan Chen), (ii) the robust queueing network analyzer (Wei You, received PhD in 2019), (iii) topics responding to student interest
