Clinical Psychiatry

I have a clinical interest in the interaction of complex psychopathology and substance use disorders. More specifically I am interested in developing combined psychopharmacologic and psychotherapeutic strategies that target specific putatitive brain circuitries in mental illness.

Epidemiology and Public Health

I have a broad interest in healthcare policy, economics, and social inequality in both developing and developed countries and applying pattern recognition techniques under this context. I am also involved in advocacy organizations such as Physicians for Human Rights (PHR).
