I am very interested in the biology, sociology, pathogenesis and management of schizophrenia and mood disorders. My other main areas of clinical interest include child psychiatry and addiction psychiatry.

Epidemiology and Public Health

I am interested healthcare policy, economics, and social inequality in both developing and developed countries.  In particular, I would like to apply pattern recognition techniques in analyzing large, multivariate datasets in deducing insights arising out of policy issues.  I am also involved in advocacy organizations such as Physicians for Human Rights (PHR).
