An R package dfcrm containing functions for the
implementation and calibration
of the continual reassessment method (CRM)
and the time-to-event CRM with
for phase I clinical trials
can be downloaded from the
Comprehensive
R Archive Network (CRAN) .
For Windows, the library can be downloaded from within R GUI
(version 2.8.1 or later):
click Packages/Install package(s), choose a mirror site, and look for
dfcrm. For those who have previously
installed the R package titecrm,
you are strongly encouraged to install dfcrm which is a superset of
titecrm and contains much expanded functionality.
The time-to-event continual reassessment method
(TITE-CRM)
is a fully sequential design that updates our belief about dose-toxicity
relationship as we accrue patients during a trial. The dfcrm
library also features sensitivity analysis
and calibration
of a dose-toxicity model in the CRM,
coherence of a two-stage CRM, and CRM simulators.
Query regarding the codes, the literature, and the application of the
TITE-CRM is most welcome! Click
