A board game to increase international cultural awareness

THE   IDEA


As the world is getting more and more international and mobilized, cross-cultural awareness is incresingly important. World Savvy is designed as a boardgame to introduce different cultue elements to teenagers to obtain better cross-cultural awareness.


DESIGN   +   IMPLEMENTATION


The target user of World Savvy is teenages aged between 12 to 18. It is designed for 2 to 4 players. Gameboard, tokens, dice, chanllenge cards, element cards and country cards are provided. Detailed instructions on how to play the game are here.

In our game design, from the content design, card interface design and the learning design, we incorporated various theories. Detailes are as below.
