Dance
Dance enjoys a vital presence at Columbia through the Barnard College Department of Dance and numerous active student organizations.
Barnard’s interdisciplinary program serves students at Barnard and Columbia Colleges, the School of General Studies and the School of Engineering—all four undergraduate colleges of Columbia University. The program integrates the study of dance within a liberal arts setting of intellectual and creative exploration, building upon studio courses, the Department's productions at Miller Theatre and other venues, its nationally known collaboration with New York Live Arts, as well as a rich array of dance studies courses.
