The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology is pleased to announce the Inaugural Charles Marboe Lecture and Lattes Symposium from 1-4 PM on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023. The return of the Lattes Symposium is in honor of Dr. Rafael Lattes. For those interested in Dr. Lattes and his history in the department, attached is a Letter to the Editors about Dr. Lattes from the Annals of Diagnostic Pathology.
This half-day symposium will precede the Inaugural Charles Marboe Lecture, the annual lectureship established in Dr. Marboe’s honor to recognize his long and distinguished career in the department—the final lecture of the day given by Dr. Charles Marboe, our former residency program director. The Lattes Symposium will feature residents’ and fellow’s original research in 30-minute presentations. Light refreshments will be served.
