Columbia University’s Institute of Global Politics (IGP) will host Nasser al-Kidwa, former Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister, and Ehud Olmert, former Prime Minister of Israel, for a discussion about their proposal for a negotiated peace between Israelis and Palestinians. The conversation will be moderated by Secretary Jacob Lew. The discussion will examine the proposal’s political feasibility, and the implications of the recent ceasefire in Gaza, and President Trump’s 20 Point Plan.
Opening remarks will be delivered by Keren Yarhi-Milo, Dean of Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and Adlai E. Stevenson Professor of International Relations.
