WHAT IS WOMEN OF COLUMBIA LAW?
Women of Columbia Law is a new initiative for all members of our Columbia Law School community to learn, network, and engage on topics of common interest.
We are excited to bring exclusive programming highlighting the women that make up the Columbia Law community, and an opportunity to connect to students and alumni of varying generations, genders, industries, and interests, who all have a shared connection to Columbia Law School.
WHAT TYPE OF PROGRAMMING WILL THERE BE?
The primary content of our program will be shared in two panel discussions featuring prominent Columbia Law School alumnae in conversation with one another.
The first panel, Law in Motion: Women Influencing Entertainment and Media, will focus on alumnae currently working in the biggest industry in Hollywood. Hear their stories of what lead them here and how they hope to empower women in other stages of their careers throughout entertainment and media.
The second panel, Women of Columbia Law: Leading with Purpose, Shaping the Future, will highlight alumnae at the forefront of their respective industries. Hear how they have learned to lead through adversity, and how they hope their impact will affect the next generation of women in law.
Throughout the entire half day program, there will be several exciting opportunities to connect with former classmates, and make new connections with members of the Columbia community.
