Task Forces and Committees

At Columbia University, we strive to address important issues that emerge in our world and in our community. Our dedication to finding solutions to these issues means that Columbia’s president will create task forces and committees that are assigned to research, study, and provide guidance to the University. Below is a central repository of information on those task forces and committees.

Task Forces

Task Force on Antisemitism

The Columbia Task Force on Antisemitism was created to address the harmful impact of rising antisemitism on Columbia’s Jewish community and to ensure that protection, respect, and belonging extends to everyone.

Task Force on Anti-Racism

Columbia's commitment to anti-racism highlights many new and continuing efforts in our schools, institutes and central administration to address racism, especially anti-Black racism. Its five focal points are: student experience; faculty hiring, support and capacity building; staff experience; inclusive public safety; and neighborhood partnerships.
