1994 Collegiate Crown Recipients

Columbia Scholastic Press Association presents 7 College Gold Crowns for 1994


The Columbia Scholastic Press Association announced its top awards for college student newsppaers, yearbooks and magazines at the 16th annual College Media Convention March 17.

Eight publications received Gold Crown Awards representing the top college publications the Association evaluated in 1992-93. Ten other publications received Silver Crown Awards for the next highest level of overall excellence in college publications.

At the opening ceremony of the convention at the Doral Inn in New York City, Edmund J. Sullivan, director of the CSPA, presented award plaques to those winners who were present.
