Columbia Film School has continued to build upon its record and reputation as one of the country's most fertile grounds for up and coming film makers. Last January Sundance selected and screened an unprecedented six Columbia films -- more than any other film school, topping our previous record of five films in 1994. Students' festival successes have been arranged by year, festival, film and by award winners. The following is a small sample of recent successes.

• James Schamus also continued his run of Sundance successes with The Brothers McMullen, of which he was the Executive Producer, taking the award for Best Film.
