Pizmon's repertoire reflects the diversity of Jewish culture. We sing music from all walks of Jewish life, in Hebrew, Yiddish, English, and even occasionally in Hungarian. Some are familiar, traditional melodies while others are modern Israeli folk or rock songs and still others are original compositions by former members. The lyrics of our songs also come from a wide variety of sources including the Bible, liturgy, modern Israeli poetry, and English parodies of songs about French painters.
