ELLIOTT SPERLING
May I ask that all the participants in the first part of the morning
session please come up front to sit at the table here? I'm going to make
my remarks very brief. My name is Elliot Sperling, I am the moderator
this morning. I have been given the, perhaps, unenviable task of being
the first moderator for this conference, and I was told that the manner
in which I carry out this task is going to set the tone for the rest of
the conference, so if - I take no responsibility for this.
If you in the audience don't behave yourselves and the morning's
proceedings degenerate into chaos, be forewarned that the entire
conference will probably degenerate into chaos!
I am going to ask all of our speakers to limit their remarks to fifteen
minutes. And after _everybody_ has finished, then we will take questions
for all of our speakers from members of the audience.
