Physics professor Tanya Zelevinsky was named one of Columbia's five winners of a Sloan Research Fellowship for 2010.

The Sloan Research fellowships are awarded annually by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to 118 researchers in recognition of distinguished performance and to support the work of exceptional young researchers early in their academic careers.
