• During their course of study at Columbia, graduate students in the Psychology program have received prestigious fellowships to support their studies from the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), the National Service Research Award (NSRA) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

• To date, the NSF, NSERC, NRSA, and Samsung Foundation have awarded fellowships to select Psychology graduate students.

• Throughout the program, graduate students are encouraged to submit grant proposals to various agencies to help support their studies.

• Please note that early Fall marks the deadline for most fellowship application submissions; therefore, first year students are encouraged to request faculty assistance with their topic of interest as soon as they begin the program.
