SeisRes and the Active Notebook

Goal

SeisRes (Seismic & Reservoir Simulation) was the next step in our 4D Seismic development to couple seismic and reservoir models ultimately necessary for 4D reservoir monitoring. SeisRes was developed under a research agreement with Baker Hughes and BH later allowed us to commercialize the system with the company vPatch Inc. A computer-based scientific notebook, the Active Notebook, was developed to be the user interface to SeisRes. Development was from 1997-2000 and vPatch was from 2000-2002.
