I am a 4th year Ph.D. Candidate in the Communications Program at Columbia University. My other current, interview-based dissertation research is on the way people feel about the experience of being featured in news stories. Other research interests include literary journalism, performing arts and new media, media ethics, qualitative methods, and the works of American sociologist Erving Goffman.
