Walter Cho, CEO & Escrow Manager

Mr. Cho is a pioneer in the Korean-American escrow industry, having more than 30 years of escrow experience. He founded Hanmi Escrow Co., Inc. in 1983. 

Mr. Cho actively participates in community service activities. He served as the chairman of the Korean American Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles, an organization in which he now serves as a board member.  Mr. Cho was a member of the Advisory Council on the Democratic and Peaceful Unification of Korea for 10 years, a position which was appointed by the President of Republic of Korea. 

Mr. Cho has earned numerous awards for his civilian service in the United States Army, including the U.S. Department of Army Superior Performance and the Army Decoration for Meritorious Civilian Service, the U.S. Department of Army’s second highest honor for civilian employees.  

He is also a member of the American, Californian, and Los Angeles Escrow Associations.
