• Tumor Lysis Syndrome:

• Hyperkalemia

• Hyperphosphatemia

• Hypocalcemia

• Hyperuricemia/Hyoerxanthinemia

• Acute Urate Nephropathy:

• Usually a complication of chemotherapy

• Overproduction, Volume depletion, acid urine

• Plasma Uric Acid > 15 mg/dl

• Urine Uric Acid/creatinine > 1.0

• Treatment: Prophylactic Allopurinol, Maintain Urine Output with Volume Expansion and Alkalinization, HD
