Serial CT Scans
2001-06-18 Increase in size of the right adrenal mass now approximately 2.9 cm which is difficult to further characterize but may represent an adenoma. Additional laboratory evaluation is recommended for evaluation of hormone secreting adrenal tumors.
2001-12-19 Comparison is made with the previous CT scan dated 6/18/2001 and 7/6/2000. Right sided adrenal mass measuring 2.7 x 2.5 cm, previously measuring 2.5 cm x 2 cm on the study dated 7/6/00. The adrenal mass enhances following the administration of intravenous contrast and appears to have a low density center.
2003-01-03 Abdomen: Again noted is a heterogeneous right adrenal mass which measures 3.3 cm (anteroposterior) x 3.0 cm (transverse) x 2 cm (craniocaudal). This mass measured 2.8 cm (anteroposterior) x 2.5 cm (transverse) x 2.0 (craniocaudal) on previous exam. This mass demonstrates heterogeneous, predominantly peripheral enhancement and has a central area of necrosis. Because of the heterogeneity of this mass, the precise degree of enhancement and enhancement washout is difficult to assess. The liver, spleen, pancreas, left adrenal gland and bilateral kidneys are unremarkable.
