Chief Complaint: 76 year old woman with seizures in setting of hypocalcemia with Ca 3.8
HPI: Mrs. P has a PMH significant for HTN, CVA, and a seizure disorder treated with Toprol, Lasix, and Dilantin. She has been hospitalized for 3 months for treatment of extensive burns she sustained after slipping in a bathtub of scalding water. Her hospital course has been complicated by Pseudomonas and Candidida sepsis treated with Timentin and Amphotericin. As medical consult you are called for evaluation of recurrent generalized tonic-clonic seizuers.
Initial labs include a serum Ca 3.8
