We're about to start a (very) rapid attribution study looking at Hurricane Melissa, and we were wondering if you and your team would be interested in joining and providing some precipitation data? We're aiming to have the analysis more or less complete by the end of this week, so I completely understand if this is not possible for you, but it would be great if you are able to join. Assuming you are available and willing to join (if not, please ignore this!) - we would like to look at rainfall across the Caribbean islands, so it would be great if we could get precipitation across the region from 86W-55W, 10N-27.5N, along with the land-sea mask if possible. I think we'll also be looking at SSTs and possibly including ENSO, so if possible could you also share the SSTs from 20S-30N? And also the GMST, which I always forget to request 😄 We're also planning to look at changes in the potential intensity across the Caribbean basin - for that, we need SSTs, sea level pressure, and temperature and humidity throughout the atmosphere, over the region 100W-20W, 0N-30N. Is this something that you could also provide? The rainfall data is a higher priority than the potential intensity data, if there's not time to produce both. Thank you in advance! Clair
