Financial information for the Department of Biological Sciences

All students accepted into the program receive full funding, which includes tuition costs, health insurance, and a stipend of $23,000 for 2002-2003. Furthermore, the University provides subsidized housing within a short walk from the laboratories in the pleasant and lively Columbia neighborhood, populated mainly by faculty, students, and University staff. Typical monthly rents are $550.
