Financial Aid Information for the Department of Biological Sciences

All students accepted into the Biological Sciences Ph.D. Program receive full funding, which includes tuition costs, health insurance, fees, and a stipend of $25,000 for 2003-2004. Furthermore, the University provides subsidized housing within a short walk from the laboratories in the pleasant and lively Columbia neighborhood, populated mainly by faculty, students, and University staff. Typical monthly rents are anywhere from $670-$900.
