What does CASO do, and what does adaptive mean?

CASO is actually a part of the Adaptive Sports Foundation, a non-profit organization located in Windham, New York, that offers recreational opportunities to individuals with mental and/or physical disabilities (e.g. visually impaired and blind skiers, paraplegics, individuals with various cognitive disorders). We “adapt” and cater our teaching methods to the individual’s abilities in teaching him/her how to ski/snowboard safely while having fun.
