We graduated! What grand four years these were. I don't know where we go from here as a class, but I look forward to the moments -- planned or coincidence -- when we'll meet again.
For those of you new to this site, I
hail from beloved Manhattan and love hanging out with my
friends, filmmaking, bartending,
breakdancing, partying hard, and
listening to all kinds of music. I am
interested in pretty much
everything from cooking lobster
to scrambling eggs, so I'm a bit
more interesting than what my
major in biochemistry entailed.
All I can say is that right now,
it has been and always will be a good life.
As class vice president,
my main endeavors included promoting
class unity among all the
members of the class of 2008 by
working together with the
student councils of other
schools (SEAS, Barnard, etc.)
and various on-campus student
organizations. Especially
when graduation was approaching, I felt that we needed to all rally
together for our last year at
Columbia.
Now that we're packed and gone from our undegraduate years here, drifting towards this brave new place called "the real world," let's look forward to the future adventures and encounters whatever they may be. And whether you find me roaming on
campus, dancing in a gym, or around the city, you can
approach me anytime even if you
just want to talk about nothing
or look for a good place to hang
out.
Looking back, we had a great life here. I'm happy to say on behalf of many others, we certainly made the most out of our fleeting moments at Columbia. No regrets. I'll see you all soon.
