Can't play casino
games because Vegas is too far away, Atlantic
City is in New Jersey, and the government took
away PartyPoker.net? On Thursday
November 9th, 2006, Lerner Auditorium was
transformed into a casino to which The Palms,
Bellagio, and MGM Grand couldn't even compare!
Headed by an entirely class of 2008 intercouncil board of Eash Cumarasamy (SEAS
'08), Calvin Sun (CC '08), Rahul Jain (CC '08),
Charanya Rangamannar (BC '08), and Hoon Andrew
Chi (GS '08), Casino Night was attended by over
one thousand students who enjoyed tons of casino
games (like Texas Hold'em) in order to win great
prizes like a FLAT PANEL LCD TV, an iPOD NANO,
and JBL SPEAKERS at the biggest event of the
semester!
The event featured food and desserts from
several local vendors, as well as special hors
d'oeuvres made by the Culinary Society. Casino
Night also featured the music of DeathMask, a
magician, and a caricature artist.
