Hey homies of 2008,

Ah. Another week, another dollar. Time to kick back and relax and  read the ol' Silverman class email. Yes, I understand you've been  waiting. You probably skipped class. Maybe you put your phone on  silent. However you've struggled, this email is a rich one...

First, SOPHOMORE FORMAL is around the corner. Buy tickets now in the  Lerner Box Office between 12-3pm M-F. It's an Emerald City, Wicked  meets Alma Mater theme. Tickets are extremely limited and, if you buy  now, only $8. This event sells out every year. View the poster here:

Second, CC2008 had an unprecedented and extremely successful clothing  drive. Headed by Chris Tortoriello and Lindsey Lazapolous, the drive  raised over 1000 articles of clothing.

Third, we had some highly successful events this past week, including  an Alumni Forum on Law, an "Ice Cream and Interviews" CCE event and a  Dinosaur BBQ study break.

Well, friends, its time to draw this part of my email to a close.  Read below -- you never know what's waiting for you...

Best,
Isaac Silverman

5. Bad joke of the week.

A lonely frog, desparate for any form of company telephoned the  Psychic Hotline to find out what his future has in store. His  Personal Psychic Advisor advises him, "You are going to meet a  beautiful young girl who will want to know everything about you."
The frog is thrilled and says, "This is great! Where will I meet her,  at work, at a party?"
"No" says the psychic, "in a Biology class."

5. Fantastic Chuck Norris Truth of the week

According to the Laws of Physics, it is impossible for Chuck Norris  to build more muscle. Upon realizing this, Chuck Norris swiftly  roundhouse kicked every law of physics known to man, as well as those  known only by Chuck Norris. He now has the ability to will his  muscles to any level of strength he desires at any given time.
