Hey all,

With midterms approaching, we have a HUGE Italian-themed study break  planned for you this Sunday night, hosted by "The Careless Cook," Jason Bello. Stop by for food catered by V&T's, and enjoy Jason's homemade hors d'oeuvres as we watch the premiere of his new show.

More importantly, this week I felt the need to reassert how amazing our school is. To respect the rights of others to express their views is central to Columbia University. Our Alma Mater has always been a place where individuals can engage in debate over the most important issues of the day.  We are justifiably proud of the traditions here of intellectual inquiry, and we mustn't forget that.

Thanks for listening to my banter. Have a wonderful weekend.

Best,
Neda

3. FYI: A new segment to make your life easier
Did you know that there are discount Metrocard vending machines on the 1st floor of Lerner? While the discount isn't much (we're working with MTA on this), it's still worth taking advantage of. Check it out....

And good luck with midterms!
