Hi
all,
I hope everyone is enjoying the
break from freezing temperatures.
To take advantage of the fact that
we can all venture outside again,
I recommend stopping by Lerner to
pick up discount tickets for
movies (Music and Lyrics anyone?
I thought not) and Broadway shows
(after
all, the tickets are subsidized by
our student life fees). Have a
happy Thursday and as always, let
us know if there is anything we
can do to make your lives better!
Best,
Michelle and Neda

2. The Fulbright and the DAAD
Friday, February 23rd
11:00am – 12:30pm
405 Kent
The Fulbright Program and the DAAD
both give students the opportunity
to pursue independent research
projects after graduation. The
Fulbright Program offers students
the opportunity to guide their own
research project in a host
country. A full Fulbright grant
supports the research for an
academic year and is meant to
promote intellectual exchange and
mutual understanding between
individuals and countries. The
DAAD allows students to conduct
independent research in Germany
after graduating. Although
application submission for these
scholarships happens nationally in
the students' senior year,
students interested in these
opportunities should begin working
with the Fellowships Office during
their junior year.
