E-mail #16 - Sent April 4th, 2007
http://www.columbia.edu/cu/cc2008/
Dear Juniors,
So I was doing some math the
other day and realized that, as
of this Thursday, we have (
40 + 365 = ) 400 and 5
days left to graduation-give or
take a few. And since you
probably need another excuse for
being on Low Steps this
Thursday, we're hosting the
first annual
400 (and 5) Days on the
Steps. We'll be out there with
free Papaya King hot dogs,
drinks, OUR CLASS OF 08 SHIRTS
(think PrezBo meets Andy
Warhol), and maybe some other
surprises! See you on the Steps!
OH, and read below for your
once-in-a-lifetime chance to
meet James Schamus, Producer of
Brokeback Mountain, Lost in
Translation, Eternal Sunshine of
the Spotless Mind, and
other films you really ought to
Netflix. We're hosting a Class
of 08 exclusive event with him
at the Columbia Club.
Don't forget: Low Steps,
Thursday at 1pm.
