E-mail #17 - Sent March 12th, 2008
Dear Seniors,
You have made it to your last midterm season, and if you are reading this email, you are probably surviving it. And if you're not, no worries, spring break is shortly upon us.
If you are looking for some distractions from work, I kind of love this site: http://www.chrisjordan.com/current_set2.php.
And in case Sunday night didn't provide you with enough chicken fingers, there is another JJs study break tonight (Weds) at 9pm.
That's all I've got. Have a happy, safe, and restorative spring break.
Best,
Neda

2. The Art of Community Campaign
The Art of Community Campaign is an arts and community building initiative coming out of a collaborative effort from all four undergraduate councils. Throughout the month of April the campaign will use four events to get the Columbia Community to answer the question "What does it mean to be a part of Columbia?"
On Low Plaza on April 3rd, Columbia students will have the chance to work with local youth from Double Discovery Center and paint a giant picture of our community- free food and t-shirts!
On April 12th, current students along with newly admitted prospective students for the Class of 2012 will have the opportunity to witness the diversity of Columbia performance art culture.
April 19th marks the beginning of a two-week long student life exhibit in the Low Rotunda Display Cases, with a kick-off reception for current students and alumni.
The day of April 26th will be marked with, literally, Art on the Steps. Art collected from as many members of the Columbia community as possible will cover Low Steps with the Plaza will be changed into a community gallery with the help of Tablet and the Postcrypt Art Gallery.
Start getting excited and look forward to these great events on their way.
ACC Planning Committee meetings are every Sunday 6pm in the SGO, 5th floor Lerner. It's not too late to join! Always feel free to contact us with any questions or ideas. This is an endeavor endorsed and supported by CCSC, ESC, SGA, GSSC, and the CPI.

such violence as a bias crime provides a more thorough understanding of
its causes and more useful strategies for working towards its
elimination. This event is free and open to the public.
