Dear Seniors,
Though spring break is over, there is much to look forward to in the
coming weeks. First, CC08 is hosting a Class Day Speaker Release Party
this Wednesday night at the West End. Come at 10:30 before senior
night, find out our speaker, eat, drink, and enter into a raffle for
free cap and gown sets (worth over $50)!
Also, are you in your last semester at Columbia but still haven't seen
a Broadway Show? (you know who you are) Now you have no excuse...We've
got RENT Tickets for YOU. Read below.
Finally, this Thursday is another Lerner Pub, and Saturday CC08 has
free tickets for you to attend the Iranian New Year celebration.

Though I thought I was the only person in New York not to have seen
RENT, I was wrong. Sooooo...CC08 has twenty tickets to see the show
next week for $15. To enter the raffle for these tickets, please email
me at nnavab@gmail.com by this Friday (3/28). Please specify if you
are entering the raffle for one or two tickets (if two, please email
the name of your *CC08* guest).

4. Senior Dinner Pictures
Do you have any pictures of you and your friends around campus? Have
fun pictures from freshman year (or any other year for that matter)?
If you have pictures of you and any of your 2008 classmates that you
would like displayed during the Senior Dinner on May 5th, send them to

If you didn't get a chance to have your senior portraits taken yet,
the photographers are back for one LAST time!! Visit the Yearboo

Come join in a celebration of the Iranian New Year. General Admission
tickets are $25, but CC08 has set aside free tickets for you. Come for
delicious Persian food, and for live dance and musical performances.

7. Manhattanville – It's Not Over Yet
Tuesday, March 25th; 5:00-7:00PM; Satow Room, Lerner Hall
Please join us on an interdisciplinary panel on the future of the
Manhattanville Expansion. The event hopes to present various academic
and planning perspectives of the expansion and to initiate a dialogue
among students about what is at stake for them. Refreshments and pizza
